Martin Rosenzweig Joins Nema As Advisor

We are so honored to announce that Dr. Martin Rosenzweig, a psychiatrist and the former Behavioral Chief Medical Officer of Optum, has joined Nema as an advisor. Dr. Rosenzweig, who has over 25 years of experience in behavioral managed care and in developing nationally scaled solutions to address opioid and youth mental health crises, is a longtime pioneer in championing measurement-informed virtual treatment.

He has worked closely with several behavioral health startups to help them shape viable payor-supported clinical entities that can better address pressing clinical needs and populations.

As an advisor to Nema, we have immense confidence that Dr. Rosenzweig will be instrumental in helping our company significantly transform PTSD treatment and the understanding of it amongst health plan and clinical audiences.

"Finding behavioral treatment that works is hard enough: finding treatment that is both effective, focused and likely to change the trajectory of a person's life is even harder," says Dr. Rosenzweig. "I am excited to help the Nema team scale effective treatment for millions of Americans who suffer from the aftermath of trauma using an evidence based, specific approach and make it affordable and accessible  to as many people as possible. Nema fills a much needed gap in care for trauma-related illness."

It is our privilege to count Dr. Rosenzweig as one of the early partners to Nema and welcome him with open arms to the Nema team.
